Baby Photography | Just One

I didn’t have any intention of putting this photo on my blog, but I had put it on Flickr. For those of you who don’t know what Flickr is, it is a photo-sharing website that photographers all around the world use to share their photos. I love looking at pictures from some truly amazing photographers there! It is a constant source of inspiration. Much to my amazement today, when I clicked on the Explore section, I found my very own daughter staring at me! So I figured the photo must be worthy of a blog post. Oh, how I love photography! I hope you enjoy the photo too!

Teen Photography | An Aspiring Model

This week I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful young woman who wants to become a model. This is the first time I’ve done anything like this, and it was lots of fun. Most of you who know me know that I spend most of my time either trying to get newborns to fall asleep, or entertaining a toddler. It was such a change to photograph someone who wants to have her picture taken! She was definitely a natural in front of the camera too. We had lots of fun exploring downtown Westerville, and were even lucky enough to find an antique Chevy truck! Granted that may not be one for the modeling portfolio, but it definitely makes a neat picture!

Newborn Photography | Little Prince

I first met this adorable little boy’s parents back in March for their maternity session. They were eagerly awaiting his arrival too. By the time it came to photograph him, this little guy was quite the trooper! The first time I tried to photograph him, he wanted nothing to do with sleep! That’s the thing about newborn photography – babies are just so unpredictable, and what you have in mind isn’t always what they do. So we gave the session another go a couple of days later, and I’m certainly glad we did. Mom kept the house toasty warm, and it made all the difference in the world. He is a handsome little guy (I believe he gets it from his parents)! Congratulations to the new family!
