Yesterday’s session was a bit of a change of pace for me (as I’m usually shushing a newborn to sleep or acting goofy for a toddler), but it certainly was fun! These beautiful girls drove from almost 2 hours away to have their portraits taken. They were such a fun family to work with, as they were up for anything! Little did they know that I would take them all over Columbus. We did an urban setting first, then to a local park, and finally to my favorite spot for silhouette portraits. We even got to try out a little off camera flash at the end. Enjoy your sneak peek, but there is much more to come!

Baby Photography | Turning One!

This handsome little man just celebrated his first birthday! Mom and dad wanted to commemorate the occasion with a birthday photo shoot, of course. We headed out to their (and my) favorite park for a morning stroll. This is probably my favorite location to shoot as it has so many different great spots to photograph. It was definitely a fun time! I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph this beautiful little 9 day old with a gorgeous full head of hair yesterday. Mom literally called me the day before this session happened. I am normally booked, but I just love photographing newborns so much that I said yes. She was definitely a feisty one, but we were able to catch a few zzzz’s for her session. I know mom and dad have got to be exhausted from caring for their little one, but I know they realize how truly amazing being a new parent is! Congratulations and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
