This little girl, at four days old, was a dream to photograph! It took her a little while to fall asleep, but once she was out she was out! This little girl, at just four days old, was a little late in her debut into this world, but a pleasure to work with none-the-less. You may remember her gorgeous mom from this maternity session too. Mom and Dad decided to wait to find out if she was a girl or a boy, so right before the session they told me they wanted the color pink in her portraits. I happily obliged, and even went to JoAnn’s the day before and got some fuchsia dye for my cheesecloth. I must say the stork shot is quickly becoming my most requested shot too! She was a dream baby during the session, and I have to say that their family portrait has to be one of my all time favorites! I do have to give credit to some of the best newborn photographers of all-time, Carrie Sandoval and Anne Geddes for the inspiration behind that (and of course the hanging shot too). I also had the pleasure of having another photographer, Kelsey Egelhoff, come for some mentoring during this session. Best wishes in your career as a photographer too!

I first met this charming little girl when she was just a week old (you can see her blog post here). I must say that is is just so neat to see how much my little subjects change over the first year (part of the reason I love newborn photography so much, because they do change so quickly and I just want to be able to capture their first fleeting moments of life). She certainly was no exception. It was very evident to me how much mommy and daddy adore their little girl too. Enjoy your sneak peek!
