This gorgeous mom to be was simply nothing short of radiant. This was one of my last sessions here in Ohio, and this couple was up for anything I suggested. We started out with some studio shots (which I always have fun doing) and then headed out to a local park that had an absolutely gorgeous field of Queen Anne’s Lace in it. That with some evening sunlight made for a stunning setting. We ended the session with a trip to the local “beach” for the evening. I am so sad not to be able to do their newborn portraits too. I know mom of this beautiful little girl must have tons of energy as this is her fifth child! Not to mention she has two year old twin toddlers running around too. I am sure there is almost never a dull moment in their household (I say almost because we were able to have some peace and quiet for her first portraits). These twins were born a bit earlier than expected but you would never know it from their portraits! This was the first twin session that we have done in quite some time, so I must say I was a bit nervous about this one. The girls did wonderfully though and we were able to pull off a great session. It amazed me to see just how calm they were when they were posed together (mom said that the yin-yang baby pose was exactly how they were in the womb). This was an on-location session and I must say it was an ideal place to have a studio! I just loved the ivy that surrounded their home and knew exactly what I wanted to do with it (and I owe the inspiration to my good friend Lina Jarmond, another talented newborn photographer). The girls were quite smiley too (I owe part of the credit in capturing the smiles to Fran Barker,who helped out tremendously with the session). Enjoy your sneak peek!
