It has been an amazing year at Works of Love Photography. I opened my doors for business here in May for the first time after leaving Ohio. I didn’t really know anyone other than a few friends that I have made here, but I am so grateful for the opportunity to meet so many wonderful clients who appreciated my style and my passion. I thank each and everyone from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to work with you and trusting me to capture your life. I look forward to an even more amazing 2013!
I was contacted by Nevada Childseekers several months back to donate a session for their annual fundraising gala. I thought it was a wonderful cause and was more than happy to donate my time and talent. While I may be known as a newborn photographer, I do love to photograph families and was excited to have the opportunity to photograph a family of thirteen spanning three generations! This family was up for anything I suggested, and they had so much fun just being silly and having fun. It is such a nice change for me too from sleeping babies! Enjoy your sneak peek!
Just in case you were wondering, he was playing “Spiderman”.
I wish I could say these portraits were taken in Las Vegas, but alas they were not (though I am pretty sure I could get some very similar right by my new studio!). I had the opportunity to photograph three of the most beautiful children in the world (my own) on our vacation to Michigan. There was a beautiful park called Maybury Park filled with beautiful trees and meadows, and I knew sunset would be the perfect time to take their portraits. Oh how I loved seeing beautiful golden fields of flowers everywhere! I have to say this is the single biggest thing I miss about the Midwest since moving to Las Vegas. I really was in heaven taking their portraits. I will certainly cherish these forever.
